Part of a 20-person design team implementing 3 brand systems over 4 months through a historic candidate switch—a design sprint lasting 107 days.

ROLE SENIOR DESIGNER



EVENT DESIGN Our team designed assets for 180+ live events. Design played a critical role in elevating the candidate and energizing supporters, with location-specific touches creating a sense of connection.

I helped develop a look and feel for events by contributing collateral such as step and repeats, DNC lollipop signs, branding for the AANHPI coalition, credentials, placards.




ORGANIC SOCIALSocial media was critical to the campaign’s engagement strategy. As the Senior Designer on the Organic/Paid Social vertical, I produced assets for @KamalaHarris across multiple channels, including Instagram grid and story posts, rapid response graphics, Youtube thumbnail designs and text-on-screen styling for video assets. 

Our design approach heavily emphasized iteration and close collaboration with the Social/Digital teams. With direct access to engagement data across platforms, we were able to A/B test social assets when needed. 




GOTV BRANDING - THE FINAL STRETCH In the weeks leading up to Election Day, we created a brand system for the “final stretch” of the campaign, with the goal of informing, engaging, and mobilizing voters to get to the polls. We worked cross-functionally with the Social and Battleground teams to target early voters in critical states.

I helped ideate and develop this new brand shift, taking ownership of sub-brands such as “Kamala’s Captains” and “The Final Stretch”, which needed to be cohesive with the larger campaign but still have a distinct voice.


“VOTE FOR FREEDOM” CONCERT SERIES + SOCIAL For a concert series mobilizing voters in battleground states, we created a typographically bold brand system influenced by music and pop culture. 

For social, we knew our strategy had to be highly templatized to accommodate last-minute changes and a vast quantity of assets needed in a short time frame. We optimized the design for flexibility, making it easy to swap out assets quickly and be flexible on the go.
